Minor Villains

This is a topic for minor or any random human villain concept. (Ex. Bandits, Pirates, Thieves, Dark mages, Witches etc.)

In this topic we:
-Can post pictures of our sketches/colored works/concepts/ideas.
-Discuss about minor villains and how they should look and appear in the game etc.
-Discuss our concept or suggestion on what area/kind of area are the suited.

Main Villains like Gavrial Denar, Allerian Vakdos, Levran Crest, Garland Noctum etc. have their own topics.

I made a random concept sketch earlier.

I had an idea that this bandit fits well in Zane's industrial city, or any industrialized areas.
Remember Sayuri's weapon design? I applied her design on this bandit's weapon. Though, I'm not so sure if it's alright for her if I modify it. So my apologies if I haven't asked permission, but this was a sudden sketch that I felt like sharing. OTL
And I forgot to tell about how it'll be modified, but thanks very much for an awesome weapon concept!

This guys definitely should be used for the bandit idea. I'd like to write about them now but I can't!
I think he looks good just like that. No need to remake or anything... Maybe.
Anyways, I think you hit the jackpot this time, Kat. :'D
If we'd simplify him a bit more he'd make a perfect grunt or henchman.
As for the boss of the bandits, I think we'd need something more badass.

Now I know why I like him! Yuffie Kisaragi had the same kind of a design. Kinda...

Though I'm no good with writing, I also would like to help and maybe discuss things about these bandits, I blame curiosity and excitement. XD
He looks like the middle of a boss and henchman eh? And yup, ordinary bandits have to look simpler, this one looks a bit high level/on further parts of the game. And yup bosses have to be badass, well there are simple looking bosses, but badass moves also.
I was thinking that this is only one kind of bandit.
There are magician/shaman type, thief/agile types, tank/heavy armored type, stealth/vanishing type etc. This one kinda looks like... uhmm... a striker type? Well it's just my suggestion. :3

Lol, now that you mentioned it, yeah. Her weapon type? and asymmetrical clothing? OTL now it reminds me of Claes also. He actually reminds me of Axel. hah, idk o_o

I've done some sketch again of maybe... a boss bandit. The same type as the previous.
Armor's inspired from Spiral Knights. Heh doesn't look so badass... So feel free to post drawings and suggestions. (:

Sorry bout the blade on his arm, I was drawing on a small piece of paper and lacked space. <.<

I have to redesign it again, I'm not contented with it. I have to make it a least a bit different from SK's type of Shield. Oh and I'll be working on Drake Solis and Illeanna Faris as soon as I get home tomorrow. ^^;

I can't believe why you don't like the current design but it's always the same with the creators. :')
I can't decide if this guy's a cliche or not! In other words, it's rather original~ ... Steampunk!
He's badass and the design is awesome. Don't have much to complain about.

And yeah it's usually like that, but I personally think... Steampunk's a li'l bit cliche lol. ^^; I felt like redesigning it, just change his blade on his arm it looks too common and his shield is close to SK.

Also, sorry if I still haven't drawn Illeanna and Drake, I just got home from job interview then fell asleep. OTL I'll start drawing tomorrow. ._.

Your design is looking good. Perhaps that shield can be redesigned so it will be fully round with pins. Those pins could be used for blocking and damaging the enemy in one go making him difficulter to defeat.

Definitely useful and make him hard to beat? Why not? He's a boss/leader of the bandits anyway.
I was thinking that the shield would look more like a gear, asymmetrical also.

Lol quite alright... I was nervous... TOO NERVOUS. But then the store manager made me relax and told me the first time's always rough and I shouldn't worry 'bout anything. I should be more like myself and not TOO formal since the boss would want to get to know me better. He set me for an interview with the head... Meaning I passed his interview. ^^;
