(Villain) Gavrial

Name: Gavrial Denar
Age: Unknown
Goals: She appears, on the outside, to want to unite the world into one nation.
However, her subtle goals are quite clear to conspiracy theorists:
She wants to sacrifice the nations power, using a secret, dark ritual.
She would set up shrines around the world, each one of them (if the player is paying attention)
in a specific pattern (think like Fullmetal Alchemist, Brotherhood).
She -may- end up succeeding, but when she is slain, her damage is undone.

Yay, female villian!!! Okay, I'm done.

So she's someone well known to the rest of the world? The shrines she's setting up around the world could contribute to the whole other dimension thing that we've been toying around with or something completely different.

Oooh, I like that the world knows who she is and thinks she's a force for good. That's interesting. (:

Gavrial Denar
She's a "paladin" of sorts. She appears to be a good person. She has her own "party", if you'd like.
She's really not a paladin, but rather, a Dark Knight. I'll develop more on her later with that, but even still, I like the idea of her even rising to the throne, albeit temporarily, and establishing an "iron fist" rule against the characters.

I actually had a similar idea, but what if she was already queen...what if she ruled already? She hires the heroes and sends them on a quest for the orb thinking thus:

They will most likely all perish, and since they're the only - however unlikely - threat to her, she loses nothing if they die.

If they succeed, she gains all the power she wishes and establishes her world conquest, and she'll kill them anyway. How's that?

I like this, but at the same time, she is making contingency plans.

But of course! What decent villainess wouldn't?

Whoa, Rose, great connection there! Now we have someone to send them on the quest, and also a villain in one character!

I'm starting to get way excited, hahaha.

It's kind of like Garland from FF1, but COOLER!

Also, I need help deciding what her final form should be like?

Wellll I was hoping that she might have really loooong dark hair and look fabulous in a slinky dress...lol I love villainesses like that...so possibly, since our other villain has a dragon form, she could have something like a serpant?

Ideas for Queen Gavrial's appearance

Hair: Midnight Blue/Black and looooong...falls around the back of her knees

Eyes: Gold

Skin Color: Pale white, but not like corpse white, an aesthetically pleasing pale.

I see her being astonishingly beautiful and alluring like, well a snake, and having all the powers of charm and seduction that such a creature is capable of. She is able to perform a "seduction" that is also a form of control...only the highest healing ability of a white mage can break the enchantment once she's ensnared a victim, and she has no fear of that since there is only one orb out there. Her final form is something like a basilisk from other FF games except only the bottom half of her body is a snake, the top is still a beautiful woman, but with the "hood" of a cobra at her back. Should fit in well with her dragon and freaky angel-but-not-really lieutenants.

I love the final form idea, I can really picture it in my head. I have some ideas as to what she could look like and wear but I guess we should leave that up to the artists.

Just wondering, since you created our evil team, what were your plans for the Queen's rounding up the group from all corners of wherever they were living from? Was it kind of a random thing, or was she looking for these people specifically because of their abilities?

Actually, you know how these things all start with prophecies? She wanted to send them off on a suicide mission.

Since Gavrial is the main villain would it work out properly for her to have multiple stages of her final form?

For example: the previous form that was already mentioned and later an even more deadly form like say just a giant demonic serpant kind of thing?

We've actually talked about the final form having a third stage...we are thinking right now that her tail will peel off and she will become this medusa-like creature with giant, fiery phoenix wings ^^
